Dog grooming refers to both the hygienic care and cleaning of a dog, as well as a process by which a dog's physical appearance is enhanced for showing or other types of competition. A dog groomer is a person who earns their living grooming dogs.

Our Story

We are a full service dog salon offering grooming at discounted rates to the public. We are also a vocational school for dog grooming. Because of this, we are able to offer reduced rates and the best care and grooms possible. We are excited to be entering our fifth year of business with our director, Tiffney who has been grooming since 2002 and Marcus Washington, who has been grooming since 2009.
One of our main focuses is the fact that we feel there's a more effective way to train people on how to groom dogs. This is why we keep our class sizes small, only training four students at a time, to allow for one-on-one, personal learning time with a professional. We work as a community in one large room so no dog, or student is left unattended. We teach the highest standard of grooming and care, so the safety of your pet and the student are some of the most significant aspects of our work.
From the dogs we groom, the students we teach and the clients we serve, all are of equal importance to us. Here at the Academy of Dog Grooming Arts, we are all about quality, not quantity!
